What To Bring

Required: your own Louisiana Fishing license. We do not provide or obtain a Louisiana fishing license for you.

Suggested equipment list for your trip....

• 2 rods, casting or spinning.
• 2 reels filled with 10-12 lb. test line.
• 1/4 oz. to 1-1/8 oz. lure weight.
• One dip net per skiff.
• Small tackle box containing:
• Spoons
• Topwater lures
• Plastics - touts, cocahoes, shrimp tails, etc.
• 1/8 and ¼ oz. Jig heads
• 30 lb. monofilament leaders
• Popping or rattling corks
   
• Sunscreen protection for body/face/lips.
• Insect repellent.
• Sun hat and polarized sun glasses.
• Short sleeve shirts and short pants.
• Lightweight long sleeve shirts and long pants.
• 1 pair long pants or coveralls for fishing.
• Deck shoes (non-slip & non-marking rubber soles) and extra clothing.
• All of your necessary toiletries and medications.
• 48 qt. cooler per one or two persons to bring home catch.
• Camera (and film).
• If you plan to wade fish you'll need long pants, wading belts, wading shoes or sneakers and socks, fishing hook-out, needle nose pliers, long stringer, dip net.

Glass containers are discouraged on board.
