What To Bring
Required: your own Louisiana Fishing license. We do not provide or obtain a Louisiana fishing license for you.
Suggested equipment list for your trip....
- 2 rods, casting or spinning.
- 2 reels filled with 10-12 lb. test line.
- 1/4 oz. to 1-1/8 oz. lure weight.
- One dip net per skiff.
- Small tackle box containing:
- Spoons
- Topwater lures
- Plastics - touts, cocahoes, shrimp tails, etc.
- 1/8 and ΒΌ oz. Jig heads
- 30 lb. monofilament leaders
- Popping or rattling corks
- Sunscreen protection for body/face/lips.
- Insect repellent.
- Sun hat and polarized sun glasses.
- Short sleeve shirts and short pants.
- Lightweight long sleeve shirts and long pants.
- 1 pair long pants or coveralls for fishing.
- Deck shoes (non-slip & non-marking rubber soles) and extra clothing.
- All of your necessary toiletries and medications.
- 48 qt. cooler per one or two persons to bring home catch.
- Camera (and film).
- If you plan to wade fish you'll need long pants, wading belts, wading shoes or sneakers and socks, fishing hook-out, needle nose pliers, long stringer, dip net.
Glass containers are discouraged on board.
